Fraser Island

A short ferry ride brought us from the mainland to beautiful Fraser Island. This is the largest sand island on the planet. The whole island is basically a national park. With several ecosystems it offers stunning scenery. Definitely very unique. Wild dingoes roam the island and the warnings of how to survive them are plentiful - similar to bears. Unfortunately we weren't actually able to see any. No matter - the natural photographic opportunities made up for it.
